MICE Train-the-Trainer course will be tailor-made and designed by taking into consideration the most important needs for a train the trainer workshop through pre-course work and survey with key questions.
This will help to gauge what participants expect from such a Train the Trainer workshop and show on which component(s) of the MICE disciplines focus should be.
The actual sessions will consist of:
- Part 1: Welcome/Introductions
- Part 2: How training sticks
- Part 3: Adult learning theory
- Part 4: Instructional Design Basics
- Part 5: Practice with Feedback
Participants will then be challenged by getting each person in front of an audience and practice their delivery.
Often participants (and some train-the-trainer facilitators) are hesitant to provide feedback that could be construed as critical.
Using feedback forms which identify specifically what successful facilitation looks like will help mitigate this factor.
